Taking part in your child’s education shows your child that school is important.

Studies have shown that parent involvement improves student performance and behavior and makes the school better.

Hadley PTO is a way to get involved with the school community, contribute to the school, to learn what is happening within the schools and to make contact with other families.

Last year we sponsored Arts Day, an author visit, and other enrichment assemblies and programs.

We hosted family events such as an autumn Spaghetti Supper with student activities, a midwinter Luau Dance, Games Night, and a Medieval Carnival.

Through wrapping paper sales and fundraising at events we were able to raise over $17,000 and allocated some of the funds to Hopkins Academy for class trips, materials for art, industrial art, and family and consumer science classes and other student activities. We donated materials and supplies to enrich the curriculum in each Hadley Elementary School classroom, special education classroom and music, art and physical education classes. In addition we bought school agendas for grades 5 & 6 and purchased books from the book fair for classrooms and the library.
