Message from the Goodwin Memorial Library - new C/WMARS circulation system to go online this coming weekend!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Goodwin Memorial Library plans to transition this Memorial Day Weekend to Evergreen, the new library computer system. C/WMARS has provided a brief rundown of the new features, as well as a few from the old system that may be going away or that will need your attention before the transition.

A couple of important highlights:

  • For those patrons who log in to the C/WMARS catalog from home to request or renew materials, check due-dates, etc., please be aware that after Memorial Day Weekend you will need to reset your PIN. Your new pin will be your last name in all capital letters. You will be able to change it to your preference once you've logged in.
  • Patrons who have created an online reading history or wishlist will want to follow the instructions provided to export these lists to their home computers for future reference. After Memorial Day Weekend, all patron reading and wish lists will no longer be accessible.
For more information, please visit the C/WMARS website notice about this transition: http://www.cwmars.org/node/390

Please note that no late fees will be charged during the first week of the transition for any items due during that time. If you need additional assistance, you may also contact the library directly at 413-584-7451, or by email at hadleylibrary@yahoo.com. The Goodwin Memorial Library webpage is currently "under construction" and can be found at: http://www.hadleyma.org/pages/HadleyMA_Library/index.

HES Spring Concert May 30th

The HES Spring Concert is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30th at 1:00 pm. Fifth and Sixth Grade students, as well as Band, Chorus and Recorder Ensemble members will be performing.

ONLY Recorder Ensemble, Band, and Chorus will perform again at the evening concert starting at 7:00 pm. There will be no grade level performances in the evening. Chorus members must wear a white shirt or blouse and black trousers or skirt.

In order for all to fully enjoy the concert, we would appreciate it if audience members would keep all cell phones turned off and refrain from talking during the student performances. Thank you!
